Please Update Your Links

I was going to do this when I had opened my new shop but it's a little complicated keeping two blogs at once. So I've shifted my blog over to my main website - http://www.viverre.co.uk. I'll see you over there! :)

Nanao's Orchid

Orchid, originally uploaded by Nêm.

I know I've mentioned photos of my studio/bedroom in a couple of times now but I am so ashamed of the mess and clutter I can't bring myself to actually post them. Living with your parents has it's benefits but space and décor style just aren't in there!

Anyway, I thought I might just introduce you to some of my favourite things. The first is my orchid (one of three, actually). Pipi gave me this orchid when Nanao was born so it has quite a lot of sentimental value.

I remember sitting in the hospital ward, cradling my beautiful baby, full of wonder, when my family walked in with this flower. That's the memory attached to it, anyway. :)

Come Home

As I was tidying up the kitchen after breakfast this morning I got a lovely surprise - my items from Come Home arrived! I ordered a lip balm and a lip gloss.

I think both these items are fairly new. Aren't they cute!? (^_^)

How Personal Do You Get?

I've been thinking about the direction of my blog over the last few days. I'm just not happy with the content - most of my posts so far are all about what other people are doing. I want my blog to be a place where I can share my life and my craft. And so I want to ask your patience as my blog changes over the next week or so.
Have a look at some of the blogs that inspire me most:
Candlelight - Joanna posts more about her family than her craft. Her posts are so lovely and I always enjoy visiting her blog.
The Dotted Line - Just look at the photographs here, they are so inspiring!
Lovely Paper - I love the pictures that Dawn posts of her home. Her sense of style shows through out her blog. And her artwork is gorgeous!
The Fabled Needle - The newest addition to my favourites list, Jen posts about her craft and her life. I love the style of her blog, there is so much to look at.
After listing these wonderful blogs I noticed that they post more infrequently. Perhaps quality over quantity is the key...

Etsy Seller: Lisa Hopkins

Hello everyone! Did you have a good weekend? I hope so! :) My weekend was rather slow. Daniel was off from work and we planned on taking Millie to the library. However, life got in the way and I cancelled our plans. We spent the day working on the bedroom/studio instead and we got quite a lot done.
I wanted to share another amazing Etsian with you today, Lisa Hopkins Design! She does beautiful etched pieces of jewellery.

Taking a Sick Day

I know I said that I would post some pictures of my work area today but life has gotten in the way. When Millie woke up this morning she was full of the cold and just wants to sit with her mummy and have cuddles. So I'm afraid my 'studio tour' will have to wait.

It's another miserable day here in Scotland - it's pouring with rain and the wind is so strong. I was in the car with Pipi this morning, attempting to get to the post office, when the wipers broke. Disaster! We made it back home, though - well done Pipi!

I don't know if this picture makes sense. It's a photo of my garden through the window. Just trying to give an idea of how miserable it is. You can just make me out in the reflection! :D
